Blue Jays smack five homers, but lose tight one to Braves

Homers factored large for both sides in the contest. The Blue Jays knocked five out of the park, with Josh Donaldson and Russell Martin each putting up a pair. Devon Travis led off the bottom of the first with a dinger.

Both starters were largely ineffective. Toronto righty Drew Hutchison lasted only 4 2/3 innings and allowed four earned runs, while his Atlanta counterpart, Julio Teheran, surrendered a career-high four home runs over five innings.
