Two Western Michigan players arrested; allegedly used gun, knife to rob woman

Two Western Michigan University football players have been arrested following an armed robbery of a female student in Kalamazoo, Mich.

According to Kalamazoo TV station WWMT, receiver Bryson White and linebacker Ron George allegedly held up a woman in an on-campus dormitory, using a semi-automatic weapon and a knife. The two were detained early Saturday, on campus, with weapons and money.

Western Michigan football coach PJ Fleck released the following statement to WWMT-TV:

"Having heard this news early this morning, I took action to immediately suspend both freshman players indefinitely.
