Stewart Cink announced Tuesday via Twitter he will be taking a leave of absence from the PGA Tour while his wife, Lisa, battles breast cancer.
The six-time PGA Tour winner was scheduled to compete in this week's Wells Fargo Championship but withdrew Tuesday afternoon. Cink released a statement on Twitter explaining what his family is going trough.

"Last week my wife, Lisa, and I received some unfortunate news. Lisa has been diagnosed with breast cancer — a startling and unexpected revelation for everyone in our family," Cink wrote.
