Rutgers Coach Kyle Flood said he expected to lead his team in its season opener against Norfolk State on Saturday despite an investigation into whether he improperly communicated with a faculty member about the academic status of a player. Flood said his part in the investigation was complete after he spoke with university officials Monday.
