Mark Sanchez is expected to start at quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles' Thanksgiving game in Detroit, a league source tells ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Regular starter Sam Bradford passed the concussion protocol this week but is still bothered by a sprained joint in his left (non-throwing) shoulder.
Sanchez started last Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, a 45-17 loss for the Eagles in which he threw three interceptions.
Bradford had "some memory loss" after sustaining a concussion earlier this month and said Tuesday that the separated shoulder could keep him from playing Thursday against the Lions.
