Preseason Blitz: Falcons, Cowboys, Dolphins escape serious injuries

Week Three of the NFL preseason schedule is supposed to be when starters play the longest, but several had abbreviated nights Thursday.

Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones and Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo were just two of the multiple players to initially send their fans into panic.

Romo injured his back on the third play from scrimmage in Seattle when he was sacked by Seahawks defensive end Cliff Avril. Romo was in the process of sliding when he was hit from behind by the defensive end.
