NFL wants more games in UK, London franchise a 'realistic possibility'

Games in London have become a regular fixture on the NFL calendar, and commissioner Roger Goodell doesn't see that changing anytime soon.

Goodell said Friday during his annual state of the league address before the Super Bowl that he would like to see the number of games played in the UK grow beyond the three regular-season contests set for this fall. And he didn't close the door on a possible future franchise in London.

"The key to our strategy several years ago was to give them the real thing — regular-season games," Goodell said. "And I think that’s worked.
