The Thanksgiving tripleheader is packed with meaningful games.
The early game will be broadcast by Fox at 12:30 p.m. ET, and it will see the 4-6 Philadelphia Eagles clawing to hang on to their dim postseason hopes on the road against the 3-7 Detroit Lions. While the Eagles have a better record, the two teams have been moving in opposite directions.
Philly has lost its last two games, and the Lions are on a two-game winning streak. A win by the Eagles would bring them to within a half-game of the NFC East lead. The Lions have a tougher road to the postseason, but a three-game win streak might make a few believers.
