Mississippi State defensive lineman arrested for fourth time in three years

Mississippi State senior Nick James can't stay out of trouble.

The defensive lineman was arrested for the fourth time since 2013, this time on a charge of public intoxication early Sunday in Starkville, Miss., the Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Office told the Starkville Daily News.

The school released the following statement on the incident Sunday afternoon: "(Head coach Dan Mullen) is aware of an incident involving Nick James that occurred last night, and he is currently getting more information on it."

James is expected to play a huge role on the Aggies front line after earning 10 starts at defensive tackle last season.
