Mike Tomlin's Win Total Triggers Contract Option for 2019

Due to Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin's success, a contract option for the 2019 season has reportedly been triggered as part of his deal.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Tomlin reached the necessary number of wins to have his 2019 vesting option activated, which means he is under contract for at least three more seasons.

Rapoport added that there has been talk about Tomlin and the Steelers coming to terms on an extension through 2020 as well: "There have been some conversations between Steelersbrass and Mike Tomlin, and those who represent him and are putting him under contract through 2020.
