The Dallas Cowboys have signed offensive tackle La'el Collins to a two-year extension that keeps him under contract through the 2019 season.

According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, the deal is worth $15.4 million. Clarence Hill Jr. of the Star-Telegram confirmed the news and reported Collins will receive a $4 million signing bonus.

Collins has started 14 games over the past two years at guard, but he is expected to take over as the team's starting right tackle in 2017.

The projected first-round pick went undrafted in 2015 due to his possible connectionwith the murder of a former girlfriend shortly before the draft.
