New York Giants kicker Josh Brown will be placed on the commissioner's exempt list after he admitted to domestic abuse against his ex-wife, Molly Brown.
ESPN's Chris Mortensen (via ESPN.com) first reported Brown was going to be placed on the commissioner's exempt list and will not play for the Giants again. Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News confirmed Mortensen's report.
Roger Goodell used the commissioner's exempt list in 2014 after Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was indicted on charges of child injury.
