The estranged wife of Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders says he lied to the team regarding the birth of their child so that he could party rather than attend practice, according to divorce documents filed in Texas.
According to TMZ Sports, Gabriella Sanders said the former Pro Bowler missed a practice in November—supposedly for the birth of their second child. Gabriella Sanders gave birth to the child in December.
The Broncos had no comment on the allegations when contacted by Nicki Jhabvala of the Denver Post.
