Broncos 24, Panthers 10: Broncos Stun Panthers and Win Super Bowl 50

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Led by quarterback Peyton Manning and a stingy defense, the Denver Broncos won the 50thSuper Bowl on Sunday with a 24-10 upset victory over the Carolina Panthers at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. It was the third Super Bowl victory for the Broncos franchise, and its first since 1999.

It was also the second Super Bowl victory for Denver quarterback Peyton Manning, who had lost two of his previous three Super Bowl appearances, including a lopsided defeat to Seattle only two years ago.

Manning, who completed 13 of 23 passes for 141 yards and an interception, now has the same number of Super Bowl victories as his brother Eli, who twice led the Giants to Super Bowl victories.
