Bengals' A.J. Green prepared to miss a game for birth of child

Bengals receiver A.J. Green missed practice Thursday to attend a doctor's appointment with his wife, Miranda. The Greens are expecting their first child, with a due date of Sept. 30, which means the baby could be born on a day when Cincinnati is playing a regular-season game.

Although he told reporters his ideal date for the birth of his child is “not a game day," Green won't hesitate to miss a week of football if it comes down to it. He plans to be with his family at the hospital and essentially said there's no way he'll miss the birth.
