2016 Outlook: Caris LeVert

Related Topics: Caris LeVert, NBA draft lottery

If not for injuries, Caris LeVert might have been a lottery pick in the 2015 draft, so the Nets might have gotten a steal at No. 20 this season. LeVert averaged 16.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game as a senior at Michigan, and shot 40.1 percent on 3-pointers over the course of 103 games, so the talent is hard to miss here. Of course, LeVert struggled through a variety of foot injuries in college, and the Nets are also keenly aware of how those injuries can derail careers. LeVert has a chance to emerge as a starter from Day 1 with the Nets, but his injury history also makes him a risky, so don't look at him before the last few rounds on Draft Day.
