Motor Sports: Nico Rosberg Wins at Monaco After a Crash and Blunder

Monaco — A late-race accident by a 17-year-old driver with no driver’s license, along with a little too much television watching by the race leader and an over-optimistic calculation by his team caused a sudden reversal of fortune that cost Lewis Hamilton certain victory at the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday.

Coming after Hamilton had led for 64 processional laps from pole position of the 78-lap race, the turnaround was a one of the biggest sudden reversals of fortune in a race that was heading into the history books as one of the least eventful until that point.
