Giants Undertake Major Renovation Projects on Both Sides of the Ball

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — There are still four Super Bowl trophies in a shimmering case just inside the front door of the Giants’ offices and training complex. Thirty-foot banners commemorating those defining victories dominate the indoor practice grounds.

The Giants have not forgotten their glory days. But the memories are growing uncomfortably distant, especially after three straight seasons without a playoff game.

When the Giants opened training camp for the 2015 season on Friday, only three starting players from the team’s last Super Bowl took the field: quarterback Eli Manning, wide receiver Victor Cruz and fullback Henry Hynoski.
