TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo women's tennis (9-12, 1-7 MAC) closed out its season with a narrow 4-3 defeat to Buffalo (11-8, 5-3 MAC) on Sunday afternoon at the Shadow Valley Tennis club.
"We started out strong with some really great doubles action today," said head coach Tracy Mauntler. "Unfortunately, we couldn't grab enough singles matches. Dee Dee really dominated from start to finish, and Mimi had to come back after losing the first set to an extremely experienced Buffalo player. We are young and I believe that these tough 4-3 losses we've experienced will help motivate the team in the off season.
