Silver Lake, Ohio – Toledo moved up one spot in Sunday's final round of the 2017 Mid-American Conference Women's Golf Championships to finish in fifth place at the par-72, 6,177-yard Silver Lake Country Club. The Rockets registered their best team score of the event today with a 15-over par 303 to edge Akron by a stroke with a 54-hole total of 64-over par 928 (313-312-303).
Sophomore Pinyada Kuvanun paced UT by tying for 12th place at 14-over par 230 (77-77-76), while sophomore Pimchanok Kawil finished two strokes behind her classmate at 16-over par 232 (80-77-75).
