Sure, it is a better place than the Red Raiders have been in years past, but Beard is pushing for Texas Tech to take the next step from good to great.
Tech had the opportunity to move forward for that step with Oklahoma State coming to the United Supermarkets Arena.
But the Red Raiders settled, especially in the first five minutes as the Cowboys ran away with an 83-64 victory Saturday afternoon.
