WICHITA, KAN. — Inclement weather was not enough to slow down the Texas Tech offense.
The No. 3-ranked Red Raiders, winners of their last five games, increased that number with a 10-5 victory over Wichita State on Friday night at Eck Stadium in Wichita, Kan.
Michael Berglund went 3 for 3 with four RBIs, while Grant Little drove in two runs on 3 of 4 hitting.
Texas Tech opened up the game with a three-run first inning and never looked back thanks to a solid pitching performance from Davis Martin.
The sophomore right-handed pitcher struck out five in six innings of work to improve to 4-1 on the mound this season.
