Texas Tech had opportunities.

But, the Red Raiders again struggled to drive in runs and fell 3-0 to Texas on Friday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.

Texas Tech (27-20, 10-9 Big 12) has now lost five straight games and is falling further and further from a chance at playing in an NCAA regional.

Still, the Red Raiders are trying to remain optimistic about its chances going forward. They continue  their three-game series against Texas (24-22, 9-10) on Saturday at 2 p.m.

“It is hard. But, it is disrespectful to this game if we don’t come out here and play hard,” Tech sophomore pitcher Ryan Moseley said.
