NORMAN, Okla. – The Texas State women's golf team turned in a 300 round Sunday to finish 10th at the Schooner Fall Classic, played at the Belmar Golf Course in Norman, Okla.
The Bobcats closed the tournament with a 16-over par round of 300 en route to totaling a three-round score of 36-over 888 (294-294-300). Texas Sate benefited from its par-5 scoring, playing the holes at a combined even-par for the tournament. The Bobcats also finished with 15 birdies, ranking seventh in the 12-team field.
Florida State, ranked 24th by Golfweek, captured the team title with a 23-under 54-hole score of 829 (270-279-280=829).
