Sandestin, Fla. – Entering the Sun Belt Conference Championships as the 11th seed, the Texas State men's golf team put together three solid rounds at the Raven Golf Course with a 22-over par 873 (292-291-290). Unfortunately, the Bobcats finished one stroke back of making the match play portion of the tournament.
"I'm super proud of my guys' performance this week. We played very solid all week and had a chance to advance to match play but came up a stroke short," said head coach Shane Howell. "This is a very young group who will grow from this experience and get better going forward.
