NEW ORLEANS – Senior Kavin Gilder-Tilbury of the Texas State men's basketball was honored by the Sun Belt Conference on Monday when the league released the preseason all-conference teams. The forward was selected to the third team in a vote by the conference's head coaches.
Gilder-Tilbury is the top returning scorer for the Bobcats from last season when he averaged 12.3 points per game. He also finished the 2015-16 campaign with 4.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steals per contest.
The Houston native made 44 three-pointers with a 37.6 three-point shooting percentage, the highest on the team.
