EUGENE, Ore. – For the second straight year, Texas State junior high jump Chelsie Decoud earned First Team All-American honors at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships at Historic Hayward Field. Fellow Bobcats T'Mond Johnson and Mylana Hearn both garnered honorable mention All-American honors during the meet as well.
"It was a great experience for out student-athletes," said Director of Track & Field/Cross Country Jody Stewart. "For Chelsie to return to the NCAA Championships and receive her second First Team All-American honor was an outstanding accomplishment. The exciting part is that all three student-athletes return and can use this experience for their next trip to Eugene.
