DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Former Texas State University women's golf standout Krista Puisite tied for 44th place at the Final LPGA Qualifying Tournament to earn a tour card for 2017. She is the first Bobcat in program history to earn an LPGA Tour card
Puisite shot a 7-over par 79 on Sunday to finish the 90-hole event with 3-over par 360, thereby earning partial status on the LPGA Tour for next season. Puisite opened the tournament with back-to-back rounds of 69, followed by a third-round 70. She then shot a 76 during the fourth round to make the cutline before posting her final round 79.
