NEW ORLEANS – Four members of the Texas State baseball team received postseason recognition from the Sun Belt Conference, the league announced Monday afternoon.
Junior outfielder Theodore Hoffman was named to the 2017 All-SBC First Team, while sophomore third baseman Jaylen Hubbard, sophomore second baseman Jonathan Ortega and junior utility player Dylan Paul earned spots on the 2017 All-SBC Second Team.
This is the first postseason laurel for all four Bobcats. Ortega was named to the 2017 Preseason All-Sun Belt Team.
Hoffman has been one of the league's most lethal hitters all season long.
