BALTIMORE - A few developments Wednesday from the Inner Harbor, where a ship or two has been known to sink and the one carrying the Rangers' hopes for 2017 is listing badly:
The reality of the possible future hit home when Yu Darvish was asked about the idea his next start with the Rangers might be his last. An inspirational speaker addressed the team. And the captain, Adrian Beltre, all but offered a public plea to keep the Rangers intact.
And then: More of the same.
The homer-or-nothing offense remained stuck in a mud bog and the Rangers fell 10-2 to Baltimore to extend the current losing streak to four games.
