As fans it’s hard to watch the Texas Rangers throw in the towel. Unfortunately that’s exactly what needs to happen for this season to have a glimpse of hope. If the Rangers sell they can at least acquire young talent for the future.
The 25-man roster in Arlington is loaded with one-year veterans. The Rangers could trade around nine or ten players at the trade deadline. These are players on one-year deals that could get the Rangers a package of prospects.
It appears the Rangers want to build around a core of outfielder Nomar Mazara, infielders Rougned Odor and Joey Gallo.
