1. Cole Hamels, Texas Rangers. In his biggest game since the 2011 postseason with the Phillies, Hamels delivered the clutch performance the Rangers needed to win the AL West title. With a burned-out bullpen running on fumes -- closer Shawn Tolleson and setup guy Sam Dyson had both pitched five days in a row -- manager Jeff Banister needed Hamels to pitch deep into the game.
