ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Texas Rangers have added left-hander Chris Rearick on a waiver claim from San Diego and assigned him to Triple-A Round Rock.

Texas also sent catcher Carlos Corporan to Double-A Frisco on Wednesday for his second rehab assignment since spraining his left thumb in July.
