Odor sidelined with ripped fingernail

ARLINGTON -- The Rangers will be without second baseman Rougned Odor for at least a couple of days because of a ripped fingernail on the middle finger of his right hand.

Odor lost the nail fielding a grounder off the bat of Toronto's Kevin Pillar in the sixth inning of Tuesday's game. He had to come out of the game and was not in the lineup on Wednesday. Hanser Alberto started at second base.

"It was a bad hop," Odor said. "We'll see how it feels. I'm not going to do anything today and see how it feels tomorrow.
