MLB Rumor Central: Reds in talks with Rangers for Jeremy Jeffress?

The Cincinnati Reds and Texas Rangers appear to have discussed a host of players at the winter meetings. A key piece of any trade talks could be Rangers reliever Jeremy Jeffress.

Mark Sheldon of MLB.com cites two sources who say the Reds are discussing Jeffress, who recorded a 2.33 ERA and 1.26 WHIP in 59 games for the Brewers and Rangers last season.

The Rangers reportedly have shown interest in center fielder Billy Hamilton and starting pitchers Anthony DeSclafani and Dan Straily, all of whom remain under club control for at least a few more seasons.
