Among the options on the Houston Astros' radar at first base is an interesting name: Mitch Moreland of the rival Texas Rangers.
The Boston Globe's Nick Cafardo reports that the Astros are "very interested" in Moreland, but the Rangers do not appear to be willing to trade him. Texas has little incentive to deal the 30-year-old, especially after the retirement of Prince Fielder.
