Two pitches into the game and the Texas Rangers led the Toronto Blue Jays 1-0. Rougned Odor hit a leadoff home run off Marco Estrada to give Martin Perez an early lead. From that point on, the Rangers somehow escaped losing that 1-0 lead on virtually every pitch for the rest of the night...until the 9th...when Justin Smoak homered off Shawn Tolleson.
Then the Rangers and Blue Jays gifted us with a free innings for this game before Justin Smoak homered again for the walk-off.
