Texas knocks out Sabathia in 10-run 3rd inning (The Associated Press)

NEW YORK (AP) -- The Texas Rangers have scored 10 runs in the third inning against the New York Yankees, a night after a seven-run third en route to a 10-9 win.

Shin-Soo Choo and Prince Fielder each had two hits in the inning Saturday. According to STATS, it's the highest-scoring inning for Texas since an 11-run third against Houston in a 16-5 win over Aug. 29, 2013. After Texas chased Yankees starter CC Sabathia, Choo capped the burst with a three-run, opposite-field homer to left. This was Sabathia's shortest outing in six years.
