Ricky Williams Calls D’Onta Foreman the Best RB in 2017 NFL Draft

Ricky Williams knows a thing or two about playing the running back position. He’s one of the best to play it at Texas, accumulating over 6,000 yards, across four years in college football. Add in 72 touchdowns, along with the 1998 Heisman Trophy (2,124 yards and 24 touchdowns), and you get one of the best to play running back in college.

On Friday night, the latest Longhorn running back, D’Onta Foreman, joined the NFL. He was selected by the Houston Texans with the 89th overall pick in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

Afterward, Foreman received applause from plenty former and current Texas stars, but received notable praise from Williams.
