MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Five Longhorns scored in the double-digits as No. 16/17 Texas Women's Basketball (12-4, 6-0 Big 12 Conference) triumphed over No. 18/19 West Virginia (14-4, 2-4 Big 12 Conference) inside the WVU Coliseum on Saturday afternoon, 73-63.
With the win, the Longhorns are off to their first 6-0 Big 12 start of program history.
Texas leads the all-times series over West Virginia, 7-5, and has captured the past four meetings.
"It was a terrific road win," said Texas head coach Karen Aston. "This is a really tough place to play.
