NFL Draft 2017: Texas’ D’Onta Foreman Available After Round 1

Related Topics: Texas, Running back

D’Onta Foreman had a fantastic season for Texas Football in 2016. He eclipsed 2,000 yards rushing, making for a massive spike in production from the 2015 campaign. It made him one of the lone bright spots in what was a disappointing season in Austin.

Once the year ended, Texas made staff changes, but Foreman didn’t stick around for them. With is stock high, he decided to enter the 2017 NFL Draft, which began on Thursday night. Mock Drafts, like the ones seen on NFL.com, did not have Foreman going in the first round. Of course, these don’t always mean what we’re going to see on draft night.
