Texas tight end/special teams coach Jeff Traylor was placed in ESPN's early 2017 recruiter rankings.

Traylor, a former high school coach at Gilmer, is entering his second year on the Texas staff.
He's helped the Longhorns recruit three 2017 players in ESPN's top 300, which places him in the top five ranking.

"Traylor has successfully made the transition from legendary high school coach in East Texas to one of the best recruiters in the Big 12 and in the nation," ESPN's Jeremy Crabtree wrote.
