According to a Friday update by 247Sports' EJ Holland, the Texas Longhorns are hosting 3-star offensive guard Gio Pancotti in Austin today.
"Texas is in need of some offensive linemen in the 2016 class and will be receiving a visit from Houston Bellaire Episcopal product Gio Pancotti tomorrow," Holland wrote on Friday. "The Texas Tech commit is ranked as the No. 44 guard in the country and No. 124 overall prospect in the state, according to 247Sports Composite."
Pancotti is currently a hard commit to the Texas Tech Red Raiders, but he's still taking unofficial and official visits which gives the Longhorns a chance to sway him their way.
The Longhorns haven't yet offered Pancotti, but if things go well on Saturday, it's possible they could make themselves the third offer in -- joining the aforementioned Texas Tech and Houston.
