Three Five-Star Recruits Texas Could Sign In The 2016 Recruiting Class

The Texas Longhorns reeled in a top recruiting class in 2015, but head coach Charlie Strong is poised to bring in more top prospects in 2016. Here are three top recruits that could sign with the Longhorns on Signing Day:

3) S Brandon Jones

As the No. 1 safety in the country, Jones has offers from every big time program in the nation, but the Longhorns are right in the mix. The speedy prospect can make plays all over the field, and that will translate immediately to the next level.

2) WR Collin Johnson

Johnson has already committed to Texas, and he’ll make the job easier for whoever is quarterback of the Longhorns in 2016. The 6’5″ wideout is still being recruited by Alabama and UCLA, who are trying to flip his commitment, but he has the size and leaping ability to become a premier red zone target, and also has the speed to be a real deep ball threat.
