Texas Loads Up On Offense In 2015 Recruiting, QB Of The Future Committed?

In this Longhorns football news and rumors update, the Texas Longhorns and new head coach Charlie Strong have their sights on the offensive side of the ball when it comes to the program's 2015 recruiting class.

While Strong was known as a defensive guru of sorts at Louisville, the emphasis of his first cycle of recruiting with the Longhorns has been providing Texas fans with an exciting, multi-dimensional offense next season.

As Sanjay Kirpalani of Bleacher Report puts it, "four-star quarterback Zach Gentry could be the 'Horns quarterback of the future, while 4-star Florida speedster John Burt is one of the most explosive receivers in the country. Additionally, the Longhorns have five commitments from offensive linemen and a pair of solid running backs already in the fold for 2015."

Add in the Longhorns' targeting of 4-star ATH/RB Chris Warren and 4-star WR Ryan Newsome, and there is plenty to be excited about offensively in Austin come the very near future.
