The Texas Longhorns have offered four-star Arizona cornerback Byron Murphy (Scottsdale, AZ), according to Justin Hopkins of 247Sports.
The 5'11", 160-pounder is only the 11th cornerback the Longhorns have verbally extended an offer to in the 2016 class, hoping to take two or three corners in this cycle.
An Army All-American and the top cornerback in the state of Arizona, Murphy holds offers from UCLA, USC, Washington, Arizona, and many others. Arizona, Washington, and USC are the current favorites to land him.
