2015 five-star Plano West (TX) running back Soso Jamabo will officially visit the Texas Longhorns on January 23rd, per a Horns247 confirmation.
According to Colt Barber of Horns247, "Texas assistant coach Tommie Robinson was by Plano West High School on Thursday morning to visit with Jamabo and the details were set for Jamabo to start his official visit to Texas following West's basketball game on the evening of Jan. 23."

Jamabo (6'3", 210 lbs) is the 27th-ranked prospect in the nation according to 247Sports and the 5th-ranked player out of the state of Texas. He currently holds offers from UCLA, Notre Dame, Texas A&M, and Alabama, amongst others.
There had be worries in Longhorns circles that Jamabo would bypass an official visit altogether to Austin with his sights rumored to be set on UCLA or Notre Dame, but Charlie Strong and the Longhorns coaching staff will indeed have a chance to lay out the red carpet for Jamabo next Friday.
