After waiting for more than a year, Longhorn fans will finally get to see Jerrod Heard in action.
And after hearing what Charlie Strong had to say about the redshirt quarterback, the anticipation for Heard’s spring debut is only building.
Strong spoke to the media on Wednesday, where he discussed the quarterback position and the development of Heard. What he had to say should have gotten the most stoic Texas fan a little excited.
“I would say this, Jerrod has taken just tremendous steps in the last week or so,” Strong said, citing reads in the passing game and improved accuracy on deep throws.
