Former Aggie and Cowboy quarterback Stephen McGee said that Knight has “the ability to make people around him better.” Knight has an outside shot of being drafted this week. McGee thinks Knight has not only earned a chance at the NFL, but he has a real chance to earn a roster spot.
After being accused of two counts of indecent exposure, Merritt has been removed from the Texas A&M roster. A spokesman from the athletic department confirmed his dismissal on Wednesday. A transfer from Oregon, Merritt never played an official snap for the Aggies.
In a statement released by the university, AD Scott Woodward said “We’re continually looking at ways to improve our in-game experience across our athletic facilities and are excited to announce the new video elements at Reed Arena which will make it one of the premier venues in college athletics.
