Texas A&M lost to Vanderbilt 6-5 on Wednesday with the winning run coming off a solo homerun in the top of the 9th inning. The Aggies bounced back on Thursday with a nice 4-1 win versus a salty South Carolina squad in the losers' bracket. Brigham Hill gave A&M a solid outing, allowing just five hits and one run over seven innings.
The Aggies face elimination again today in a rematch versus Vanderbilt. A&M beat Vanderbilt in a home series during the regular season two games to one. Kyle Simonds is expected to get the start for the Aggies.
